Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008I just finished reading Don Felderās autobiography, āHeaven or Hell.ā Don was the former lead guitar player for the Eagles and the composer of their all-timeĀ best selling song, ‘Hotel California.’ “Heaven and Hell” is a hateful portrait of band leaders Don Henley and Glenn Frey, whom Felder paints as assholes, cruel, exploitive and endlessly greedy. I love ātell allā books!
If you ever daydreamed about being a rock star, āHeaven or Hellā will bring you back to earth and make you appreciate your life as a nobody.
On a side noteā¦.Don Felderās guitar solo on ‘Hotel California’ was voted by Rolling Stone magazine as the best rock guitarĀ solo of all time.
I will be on the road for the next several days doing shows.
